Gene Finance Monthly Report — April 2021

Highlights:

• Successful migration of Gene Finance on Metaverse, 3.7 million ETP staked in 72 hours

In April, our core product team focused on launching Gene Finance on Metaverse. The Gene Finance cross-chain decentralized platform is built to help crypto enthusiasts easily deploy and optimize their digital assets within the DeFi space.

The decision to migrate over to Metaverse follows our community’s feedback for a much faster, cheaper, and more efficient transaction experience. Metaverse is ideally suited to host such consumer-focused applications, whereas other platform’s gas fees have become unsustainable, regularly costing hundreds of dollars in gas fees to complete a single transaction. On Metaverse, our Gene Finance community will no longer be priced out when interacting with our platform.

Gene Finance Migration to Metaverse

On April 23rd, 2021 at 9:00am EST, Gene Finance officially launched on Metaverse. Within 3 hours, over 1 million ETP (native token of Metaverse) was staked on Gene Finance, and within 72 hours, 3.7 million ETP was staked on the platform. Concurrently, over 78 million GENE was also staked.

We received tremendously positive feedback from our community regarding low fees and the smoothness of transactions. If you have any questions or concerns, please chat with us on Discord and our admins would be happy to assist you.

We were also featured in a story on the front page of Cointelegraph with Metaverse. It described the Gene Finance launch on Metaverse as “the first milestone of a robust roadmap of development that embodies the New Metaverse.” The rollout of new features is being spearheaded by the Metaverse Foundation, which has been tasked with maintaining the operations of the blockchain and creating a “complete and affluent” ecosystem.

Launching Stickers NFT platform on Metaverse

Stickers is an NFT platform powered by the Gene Finance ecosystem and a cross-chain Defi project. As NFTs become an increasingly important tool in the blockchain industry, Stickers will become an important part of the Gene Finance ecosystem built on Metaverse.
